Rick Singer is the Executive Director of the Society of Government Travel Professionals (SGTP), a trade association representing the government travel sector. Government travel, which includes military travel, represents nearly $15 billion in annual expenditures. 

The mission of SGTP is to advocate for excellence in government travel management and collaboration between the government and the supporting travel industry. Through education, networking, research and signature events SGTP provides and open environment for positive change.

Rick brings more than 20 years of executive-level management expertise across a broad spectrum of travel industry sectors. Prior to joining SGTP, Rick was the Vice President of Vendor Relations for Omega World Travel, based in Fairfax, VA. Rick was the President and CEO of Adventure Tours, Inc., where he spearheaded growth of the national recognized wholesale travel company.

As the Executive Director of the Society of Government Travel Professionals (SGTP), Rick’s passion for developing strategic partnerships and alliances is shaping the direction of government travel. He has served in this position since 2007.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Rick resides in Baltimore, MD with his wife and children.
